I finally have some decent comparison shots for my 50 pound weight loss . . . all thanks to RUNNING! I completed my first 10K on July 18th, the Fleet Feet Women's 5K, 10K, and Festival. I enjoyed my first anniversary of this race. My time, sub 1:18. I figured I would come in around 1:15, so I was happy. Even more exciting was comparing last year's race photos to this year's. I can definitely see a difference, not only in weight, but in some much needed gear upgrades! My shoes, fuel belt, and smile is much improved :) I don't run fast, or over exert myself, I actually enjoy running. Proof that weight loss can be virtually painless when you find an activity you enjoy doing.
