Happy New Year! Let’s talk about the Runners World 30 day challenge. I did not fit in thirty miles in thirty days. Between a sick pup, bitterly cold weather and not being able to make it to the gym regularly I logged a whole 7 miles! I snuck in a few sessions of The 30 Day Shred too. So another 30 day thing may not work well for my lifestyle, but I’m doing one anyway. I’m challenging myself to eat like a Paleolithic.
My diet is not so great. I eat a lot of frozen foods and not very balanced meals. A plate of French fries is a typical evening meal. My goal is that Paleo will encourage me to eat more whole foods and improve my meal-making process.
This was my breakfast this morning, eggs, turkey bacon, half an avocado, and strawberries. Yum! In a nutshell, Paleo is a very low-carb way of eating which encourages your body to burn stored fat.
This is a fantastic blog I found about a 30 day Paleo challenge. It has a lot of useful information, workouts and a grocery list. Here’s to a better outcome than my last challenge!
